Where it all began...

I'm where it all began... Gameday Grille in Waynesville, Ohio. Now while this establishment is home to some fabulous bar stools inside, to get a super crispy waffle you've got to sit on the patio or outside. My hair girl does not like when I let the UV bake my head for long periods of time, so I have opted for the covered patio today as it is a perfect Summer afternoon. I don't like when she is mad at me.

Anyway - It was while sitting here for a while on my mid 30s backside, that I peeled my rear up from one of these chairs and realized I had something kind of gross and kind of sexy going on. Like the tramp stamp of thighs. And The Wafflebutt was born. And I decided right then that I would like to get all the stamps from all the places. Not the 'mushroom' though.

What you need to know. Gameday does brunch on Weekends and it's pretty stellar thanks to their massive Gameday mimosa that comes with the mini bottle of champagne. Once whilst brunching here I didn't want a full omelette and I asked for a half omelette and was told they couldn't do that. The menu mentioned the full omelette was made with 4 eggs, so I then said well how about 2 egg omelette ? Boom. It my head I giggle to myself thinking about ordering the 2 egg omelette, but then I usually just order two mimosas.

One other time I was in the mood for a dirty martini and heck I didn't know what all type of olives they had but I wasn't in the mood for fancy olives, so on the off chance some bleu cheesers were back there, I just specified that spanish olives were fine. After a few minutes the waitress came back and said ma'am, our olives are from Virginia. I allowed it.

Pizzas are good, sandwiches are good, cold beer is good and generally it's just a great, local place to catch up or grab a game. I "re-met" a person here a few years back that I now happen to be married to. And he has a burger with an egg on it named after him on the menu. I think I would like something on the menu named after me.

Today I sat here and worked with a tall Micholeb Ultra draft. I do not want a beer unless it's on draft, typically. I like to eat a late lunch/early dinner so the timing was off for me today. Had I committed to such things, I may have ordered the the black bean burger. But I'm childless, my husband doesn't like me today, I already worked out, and my in person appointments are over for the day... so I am going to take myself out to dinner ! The most important decision of the day!
